A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $1,800.00 donation from the Zimmerman
Fire Department Relief Association with the intent it be used by the Fire Department for
purchase of an AED.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the Zimmerman Fire Department Relief
Association for their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
Westgaard and duly seconded by Councilmember Wa er, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof. Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Bever, Grupa,
WagY�, and Westgaard and the following against: none, whereupon said resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Beyer, Grupa_ Wagner,
and Westgaard and the following absent: none.
Passed and adopted this 6`' day of February 2023.
