ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
JUNE 1, 1970
The Town Board met with all members present. John Oliver was present a preliminary plat of
Marvin George. The plat was discussed at length. Earl Schulke went on record that he would accept
the preliminary plat but not the road until they are black topped. A motion was made by Earl
Schulke seconded by Mel Peterson that the plat be accepted subject to the roads being black topped.
Motion carried. A group of 3 representing the VFW Club appeared to request a permit for an on
sale liquor license. Some discussion followed. Earl Schulke moved that this group be allowed a on
sale liquor license seconded by E. Rathbun. The vote was three in favor on opposed. Motion carried.
No other business so meeting adjourned.
