ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
JULY 6, 1970
The Town Board met with all present except Mel Peterson. John Oliver and Lloyd Anderson
appeared to present plats for approval. Lloyd Anderson presented the preliminary plat along the
Mississippi River west of town. It was specified that the road ditches be constructed to illuminate
using culverts. This is called Riverview Heights First and Second Additions. Earl Schulke moved we

accepted Plat as stated seconded by E. Rathbun. Seconded that the final plat of Orono Lake 2
nd
Addition be accepted. Motion carried. John Oliver presented Ridgewood 2 Addition for Neal
Larson. A motion was made by E. Rathbun seconded by DR Moldenhauer that the above
mentioned plat be accepted the motion carried. The Town Board is to meet with the fire dept. on

July 15 to discuss fire call numbers.
