ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
FEBRUARY 7, 1972
The meeting was called to order by the chairman. Earl Schulke all members were present. Paul
Carton was asked to attend to explain to the board what he has that might be available for a Town
Hall site. He said he has a piece of land north of the power line on the east side of the road but 4 to
5 acres would run into the low land on the east.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lakoduk appeared before the board. He presented a diagram of a parcel of land
which the Town Board inquired of for a possible Town Board Town Hall site. Motion made and
carried that the clerk keep the diagram on file.
Ernest Toth appeared before the board to request a letter of intent to the pollution control board.
The clerk to write a letter to this effect. Moved by F Madley seconded E Specht that clerk write such
letter. Motion carried.
Jeffrey Rootes presented a map of Elk River Township showing old roads. John Oliver office is to
get descriptions for easements along Anna Meyers road.
Motion was made to adjourn. Motion carried.
