ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
OCTOBER 2, 1972
The Town Board met with all members present. The meeting was called to order by the chairman
Franklin Madsen. The first order of business was whether the town is obligated to build up a
cartway. Richard Gillstrup appeared to show his plat between Sam Peterson and George Dechenes
property. A motion was made by Earl Schulke seconded by EL Specht that the preliminary plat of
Gillstrup Addition be approved contingent on the completion of the final plat. The motion carred.
A motion was made by Earl Schulke seconded by Everett Specht that the Town Board build the
road in around the north side of Little Twin Lakes. 2 ayes by E Schulke and E Specht one nay by
Franklin Madsen because of the legal opinion of Jerry Filla.
A motion was made by Earl Schulke seconded by E Specht that Lawrence Kreger big of 2512.50
was low as Big Lake Gravel was 3745.75 so Kreger big be accepted. Motion carried except for Frank
Madsen for above stated reason.
The following persons are to be on the election board for the General Election. EV Rathbun, E
Specht, Minnie Brady, Pearl Schulke, DR Moldenhauer, Mrs. Lakoduk.
