ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
DECEMBER 4, 1972
The monthly meeting of Elk River Township was called to order by chairman F. Madsen.
The first order of business was a report that Frank Madsen and Earl Schulke went out on Saturday

Dec 2 and inspected the new roads in the Lakoduk plats. Also the new road north of Little Twin
Lake.
A motion was made by Earl Schulke seconded by F Madsen that the above mentioned roads be
accepted subject to back slope dressing up in the spring and seeding of same. Motion carried. Harry
Lakoduk presented certificate in the amount of $4000.00 as performance bonds to insure paving of
roads in plat. Payment to Kreger to be paid less 10% until completion. Mr. H Perry appeared and
stated he would like to see the road from Camp Cozy to County Road 30 be tarred as it has a heavy
traffic count.
