ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
JULY 18, 1973
The Town Board met with members of the Village of Elk River at the First National Bank
Community room. There was much discussion about annexation but no immediate action was
taken. Frank Madsen stated that the Elk River Town Board is to meet with the Planning
Commission to see if lot sizes can be enlarged to at least 2 ½ acres for a distance to be decided
surrounding the Village. A group of Planners were to give their costs for a survey to both the Village
and the Township. Not further business the meeting was adjourned.
