RecentlyT we received a fe`v requests from preschools to book a date for the splash pad. This has created capacityT concerns and the need for a policyT to address this. The policy d�aft incorpoYated items from the Cityr of St. Michael's policyr. Our proposed polic�r requires groups such as dayTcares, YMCAs, and schools to make a reservation via the cityT's website. The reservation will require a shelter or pavilion rental and allow access to amenities for a 3-hour block of time with no additional fees. On March 8, the Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously recommended the CityT Council approve this policy. Staff will Ye-evaluate the policy with the Commission at the end of the summeY season.
