ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
FEBRUARY 4, 1974
Meeting of the Town Board of Elk River Township was called to order by the chairman EL Specht.
All members were present. First order of business Theodore Bray appeared before the Board. His
claim was that the road cut in crosses his land and makes it difficult to sell. It was suggested by
Frank Madsen the road be surveyed from Lewis Lahmon corner west to the river and described.
The above suggestion was put in the form of a motion by Frank Madsen. Seconded by Earl Schulke.
Motion so carried. An easement should be secured and dedicated by the abutting land owners.
Mr. and Mrs. Lucas next appeared. He presented his suggestions for revising the names in certina

areas of the township. The board is to meet and audit books on Feb 11.

The Board of Supervisors met at the court house on March 5 to audit the township books. These
were found to be correct.
