ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
JANUARY 6, 1975
Meeting called to order 7:40
First order of business was discussion on Camp Cozy Road.
After much debate a motion was made by E. Specht seconded by E. Rathbun to have John Oliver
stack center of presently traveled road and monument 40 ft road. Motion carried.
Residents of Camp Cozy were informed that once this was done they would receive legal notice and
they would have one year from that date to file appeals.

Clerk was instructed to bill City of Ramsey for paving of their portion of 165 and Jarvis amount of
$5,430.91.
Motion by E. Specht to declare temporary vacancy in Treasurers office second by E. Rathbun,
carried.
Motion by E. Specht second by E. Rathbun to appoint R.C. Smith treasurer for Jan meeting only.
Carried.
Beer license for Ebners live bait was presented for renewal approved.
Clerk told to issue all necessary cigarette licenses. Also to bill county for gopher bounty.
Legal council instructed to attend consolidation meetings Jan 13-20-27, 75.
Meeting adjourned 9:55.
