JULY 21, 1975
Special Township Meeting
This special township general meeting was called by petition of the Township residents. Said petition
is on file in my office.

A special town meeting was called to order at 7:40.
First order of business was election of chairman. Nominations Frank Madsen, Roger Taranowski

A legal opinion was given the people by the Township attorney. This opinion stated the people must
first approve or disapprove the purposed storm sewer project for Westwood addition. If approval
was given then the board would determine who is to pay for said project.
Next a report was made by Orrin Fricke on the purposed storm sewer project. This included two
separate proposals that the engineers felt would solve the problem.
Public discussion followed.
Motion by Mary Gappe to authorize Town Board to install storm sewer at a cost not to exceed
$31,000.00. Second by Jim Koble. Motion lost on a vote of 20 no 11 yes votes
Motion by Jim Morgan to authorize board to use alternate storm sewer plan at estimate cost of
$12,500.00. Motion failed for lack of second.
Motion to adjourn by Emery Watson. Second by Gary Davic. Carried 9:25
