ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
AUGUST 4, 1975
Fred Brentson presented his bill for road work also recommended seal coating of Boston St in
Moldenhauer addition and Cargill Road from Railroad to Hqy. Fred suggested grading road from
county road to Louis Lahmon corner. Also that W.S.P. crews had damaged road by Baufields (Tyler
St). Clerk to bill W.S.P. for this.
Connie Moldenhauer substituted for her husband as treasurer.
Mrs. Harry Lakoduk appeared representing her husband to discuss black topping of roads in their
addition.
After discussion Mrs. Lakoduk was invited to return on Aug 18, motion by Frank Madsen seconded
by E Specht that Floyd Kober be permitted to build a retaining wall of timbers along his Lake
Orono lake front. Carried.
