Background/Discussion
The Standing Agenda items approved at the December 2022 MPFAC meeting included hosting a public hearing to
receive community feedback regarding the operation, use and future development of the FT Center. Staff has
included a draft of the hearing notice for Commission review.
Financial Impact
The public’s input will guide the financial decisions made for the facility.
Mission/Policy/Goal
Listening to the needs and desires of the greater Elk River Community will guide the commission in the decision
making used to preparing for the future of the facility.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
MULTIPURPOSE FACILITY ADVISORY COMMISSION
FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the Multipurpose Facility Advisory
Commission for the City of Elk River, Minnesota (MPFAC) will meet at 6:30 p.m. on XXX at the Furniture
and Things Community Event Center, 1000 School Street, Elk River, Minnesota to conduct a public
hearing to receive community comments regarding the operation, use and future development of the
facility.
All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing to express their questions, concerns,
and/or comments.
