Background/Discussion
The Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission standing agenda item guidelines has the review of facility rental
rates scheduled for this month. Included you will find the current facility rate sheet and the rate sheet for
Adrenaline Sports. In addition to turf and room rates, we need to establish ice rates for the coming year however,
we are finding there are few other rinks who have established their annual rates for comparison. As a result, staff is
recommending moving this agenda item to June to have higher quality data available.
Staff is also establishing an “a la carte” rate list for amenities including (but not limited to)
Whiteboard rental
Podium/Microphone rental
Zoom TV Use
Putting fieldhouse nets on walking track
Closing walking track for tryouts
“outside of typical schedule” charges
Large event surcharge
Tournament surcharge
Ways to make sectional games for profitable for the facility such as a per ticket surcharge or other revenue sharing
formula.
Financial Impact
Hourly facility rates will have a direct impact on our annual budget.
Mission/Policy/Goal
Establishing rates consistent with the caliber of our facility allows us to sustain operations.
