DISCUSSION:
• Office walk-in traffic for March consisted of 94 customers, averaging 24 customers per
week over the 4-week period.
• ERMU red tag notification count for March under the Cold Weather Rule.
o Cycle 2 — 12 red tag notifications and 3 disconnections
o Cycle 3 — 27 red tag notifications and 4 disconnections
o Cycle 4 —10 red tag notifications and 1 disconnection
o Cycle 1— 32 red tag notifications and 3 disconnections
• During the month of February 2023, the customer service team entered 36 payment
arrangements with customers. During February 2022 there were 62 payment
arrangements.
• The Cold Weather Rule is set to expire for the 2023 heating season on April 30, 2023.
• Staff worked with city staff on an audit of sewer rate SAW74. This rate bills non -
domestic customers sewer units (i.e. usage) based on their actual metered water
consumption per month instead of the typical sewer rate which is based on a
customer's average water usage over the winter months.
• Staff has a meeting with Republic Services and city staff the week of April 10 to start the
planning process for a cart exchange from Randy's to Republic garbage and recycling
ca rts.
• With the departure of Tom Sagstetter, conservation & key accounts manager, on Friday
April 7, 2023, the management team will be reviewing job duties and responsibilities to
determine the best direction for the position. During the transition the administrations
director will be the main contact for all questions.
