2022 proved to be a successful year for the Central Minnesota Council. Our theme this year was to "Thrive" coming out of the
pandemic. We saw growth in nearly all aspects of the program this year.
- Membership grew for the first time in 4 years as families returned to in person activities.
- Rank advancements were up 12% over the previous year.
- Scouts earned 424 more Merit Badges than they did in 202L
- Community Service hours increased by 29%
- Cub Scouts attending camps at Parker nearly doubled!
- Participation at Merit Badge clinics and camps more than doubled!
The council continued to develop and refine our core strategic priorities of developing volunteer leadership, membership growth,
financial stability, maximizing Parker Scout Camp and Marketing our programs.
The council also took the important step of hiring a full-time Exploring Coordinator to grow our Career Development program in a
significant way and help young people make informed career and postsecondary education decisions.
We are incredibly grateful for all our supporters, community partners and the volunteers that make such a positive and lasting impact
on thousands of young people across Central Minnesota.
