SUBJECT: Council Updates
Councilmember Motin will be prepared to provide an HRA update to the City Council on Monday
and Councilmember Dietz will provide a Library Board update.
Mayor Klinzing and I have had the opportunity to review Council agendas, and if the Council
concurs, on future agendas Council updates will be listed following other business and before staff
updates. During this time, any Councilmember may give an update on any committee or
commission for which he or she is a liaison. Currently, only select items are on the agenda for an
update. This format will provide an opportunity for all Councilmembers to bring up any item of
importance to the Council. Backup materials for this item will not be provided unless the Council
wishes to receive certain sets of minutes or if a Councilmember has items he or she wishes to be
distributed in the packet prior to the meeting.
Action Requested
City Council is asked to discuss the change in format for Council updates.
