Approve, by motion, rescheduling the Monday, June 19 EDA regular meeting to Tuesday, June 20, at 5:30 p.m.
Background/Discussion
The State Legislature is considering 2023 for implementation of the Juneteenth holiday. The addition of the new
federal holiday in state statutes mandates that no governmental work shall be conducted on this day. It is likely the
bill will be signed into law.
There is an Economic Development Authority meeting presently scheduled for June 19. The City Council recently
rescheduled its June 19 meeting to June 20 as well.
