Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order at 6:00
p.m. by Mayor Dietz.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Fund Discussion
Mr. Portner presented some ideas for discussion as noted in the handout. Council reviewed the various
options for expenditures and consensus was to use ARPA funds for the following projects:
Cover state contract to market rate purchase of trucks scheduled for replacement $ 144,000
■ Include Elk River Municipal Utility vehicles 14,000
■ Include 2024 vehicle purchases 50,000
Wastewater Treatment Lift Station Grinders 350,000
City portion of the fiber loop 377,500
Door Controls 75,000
Security Camera Update 95,000
Fire Panels 14,025
Furniture and Things Community Event Center Sport Court in Field House $250,000
Fiber to Library $30,000
TOTAL $1,399,525
Motion to Adjourn
Moved by Councilmember Westgaard and seconded by Councilmember Wagner to adjourn the
meeting of the City Council. Motion carried 4-0.
The meeting adjourned at 7:04 p.m.
