Background/Discussion
PeY state law, fire Yelief associations must have three cityr trustees on their boaYd. One member must be the fire chief.
The city must appoint the other t�vo trustees on an annual basis.
HistoricallyT, the mayTor and finance director have been the t�vo city trustees. The resignation of the finance director
left a vacancyr on the relief boaYd and with the new hire and a new position for the assistant cityr admitustrator, it is
Yecommended to appoint Mr. Stremcha.
