4.1 Committee Structure
Staff is interested in considering combining the efforts of the Beautification Committee and the Public
Art Committee. The committees should discuss how the two groups can work together to accomplish
shared goals.
4.2 Marketing Strategy for 2023 Activities
The committee should discuss marketing efforts for the Beautification award. The Beautification
Award flyer should be updated for 2023 to include the 2022 winner and be considered for printing.
Marketing opportunities are available at the Elk River Farmers Market and Elk RiverFest.
4.3 Downtown Banners
The Together Elk River Committee and DERBA’s Beautification Committee have shared ideas
regarding a refresh of the downtown banners. As a beautification effort of the city, this committee
should also weigh in on the future of the banners.
4.4 General Updates
This item is an opportunity to share updates and discuss other non-action items. Among the items is
discussing delivery of past winners’ prizes.
