Mayor Dietz will present Officer Suchy with a plaque commemorating his 30 years of service to the City of Elk
River.
Background/Discussion
Police Officer Mike Suchy began service with the City of Elk River as a Police Reserve officer on July 31, 1993.
He was hired as a licensed officer on October 7, 1996. Officer Suchy currently serves as a police detective.

His son, Jonathan, is currently in the U.S. Air Force serving as a JTAC with the U.S. Army’s 20 Mountain Group
at Fort Drum, New York. He will be watching the program online.
