Background/Discussion Since the completion of the Highway 10 Corridor Study this past spring and the subsequent learning of the Highway 10/ 169 corridor not being selected for interchange funding through the last Corridors of Commerce solicitation, we are faced with an opportunity to discuss the concept and schedule for any local improvements along the corridor. We have a previously developed project that has remained in our Capital Improvement Plan. The funding and layout for that project are attached. When originally applying for the funding of that project we anticipated a new signalized intersection at TH 10/169. MnDOT no longer supports that type of intersection. We are looking to discuss how this project may be modified to meet MnDOT approvals or suspend work while seeking funding for the long-term interchange improvements on the corridor.
