Action Requested
Approve, by motion, the appointment of Joanna Arbic to serve on the Together Elk River Committee.
Background/Discussion
The Together Elk River Committee has been meeting monthly and promoting the importance of shopping locally
during 169 Redefine through social media posts and billboard content. The committee currently has three members
and has desired to include more voices from local businesses to strengthen the reach and impact of the committee.
The committee is openly recruiting to grow its membership to at least six members. Joanna Arbic, Maurices store
leader, is interested in joining the committee. Joanna enjoys being involved in the community and resides in Elk
River. She is also an active member of the Downtown Elk River Business Association. She would be a valuable
asset to the Together Elk River Committee.
