Background/Discussion We received 24 applications for this position and intervie`ved 11 candidates. Follo`ving second intervie`vs and leadership assessments, staff recommends CaseyT Neumann for this position. Mr. Neumann was hired as a paid on-call firefighter for us in 2014. He `vas trained in our veryT first AcademyT and has provided training at every Academy since then. He also develops and provides tYaining for our department staf£ His current full-time job is a LAN/WAN NetwoYk Manager for the State of Minnesota where he has worked since 2012. He also served in the Minnesota National Guard for 16 years. Mr. Neumann holds a bacheloY's degree in business and an associate's degYee in computer science. He has Yeceived a magnitude of certifications in the field of fire safetyr. Due to his experience,1��. Neumann will staYt at step C foY this position. He will begin woYking for us part-time, 3 days a week, and will begin full-time on Mondayr, October 16, 2023. InsuYance benefits will begin NovembeY 1, 2023.
