VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
May 8, 1940
A Special meeting was held on Wednesday, May 8, 1940.
The purpose of this meeting was to open bids for the painting and cleaning of the water tank.
The bids were as follows:
Marcus H. Mattson – One Rustop Power unit
No. 1 – 324.00
No. 2 – 288.00
No. 3 – 252.00
Joe Kotowski – 448.00
Mississippi Valley Tank Co. –
B.F. Lane 1 – Coal 360.00
2. Coal 525.00
Northwestern Chimney Co. 585.00
United Tank and Painting Co 450.00
It was decided to have Mr. Marvin Behmer of the United Tank and Painting Co to come up and
meet with the Council before the bid is let out to his company.
No further business meeting adjourned.
