VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
September 6, 1944
Regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the Municipal Building on Sept 6, 1944
with all members present.
Supt. RW Houshe met with the Council and explained the recreation program at school and matters
pertaining to school children.
Motion by Bailey and seconded by Briggs that the Village Council make an offer of $25000.00 to the
Elk River Power and Light Company for distribution system and the dam and power plant. Motion
carried.
