Approve, by motion, hiring the following as paid on-call firefighters effective October 18, 2023.

Background/Discussion
We went to market in June to recruit firefighters for this year’s academy. We received 21 applications and reviewed
each for response time requirements. Each completed an interview, firefighter agility test, background, physical,
and psychological assessment. We recommend the above four candidates for the position of on-call firefighter.
With recent resignations and retirements, this hiring brings our staffing level to 45. We have 60 authorized
firefighter positions.

These are budgeted positions.
