Updated: August 2020 To Whom it may Concern, We want to explore the option of purchasing/leasing the land to the east oftheSpikes and Houles in Elk River. The parcelis the overflow parking lot located across highway 10 from downtown. We would like to expand our operation to the east and utilize part, if not all,of the lot. Please see attached maps, first being the full requested area, followed by secondary area if entire area is not possible. With thepartnership with DERBAand Elk River we have been developing, it would be away to effectively utilize this land both for us and help improve the appearance coming into to town. We could cleanup the parking lotand increase the plantings on theeast endgiving a more attractive entrance to town.We would be able to utilize this area for more plant sales which in return would help increase our offering for the community. The store continues to grow and needs to utilize more space in order to continuethat growth not only for us, but also the city. We would appreciate the ability to purchase,or lease, the property to the east of the store. Thank you! Luke Spikes and Houles Feed General Manager
