VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
March 4, 1957
The regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was called to order on Mar 4, 1957 by Mayor
Schwartz. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. All members were present.
A motion was made by Sandberg and seconded by Briggs to send Lester Derr to the Sewer School
at the University of Minn with all expenses paid. Motion carried.
Mr. Archie N. Carter of Lindsey, Carter and Associates was present at the meeting and discussed the
possibility of a lagoon system of sewage disposal. He explained the system in detail. The Council
decided to consult Mr. Carter in case anything is done in the future.
