VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
July 2, 1957
A special meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the Village Council rooms at 9:00
P.M. on July 2, 1957. Present were Meyer, Dow, and Schwartz. The petition of Joseph Kaylor, et al
for municipal sewer service was reconsidered. Upon motion by Meyer, seconded by Dow and
carried the petition was tabled until such time as petitioner shall also have petitioned the Elk River
Utilities Commission for city water service.
The Council deems it not feasible to install sewer service without city water also. The village clerk
was instructed to inform the petitioners by letter of the council’s action.
Meeting adjourned.
