Designation of Official City Newspaper
State Statute requires that each city annually designate an official newspaper that is used to
publish legal matters and notices. The Elk River Star News has been the official newspaper
for the City of Elk River for several years.
ACTION REQUESTED
Council designates the Elk River Star News as the official newspaper for the City of Elk River
for 2006.

publish legal matters and notices in, the Elk River Star News would like to be considered
for the City of Elk River's official newspaper for 2006. Our current fee for public notices is
