SUBJECT: Resolution Acknowledging Contribution to the Elk River Fire
Department from an Anonymous Donor
The Elk River Fire Department recently received a donation in the amount of $7,200.00 from an
anonymous donor to be used for the purchase of a Scott Eagle X thermal imaging camera for Fire
Station # 1.
Attached is a resolution acknowledging the contribution to the Elk River Fire Department.
Action Requested
It is requested that Mayor and Council adopt the attached resolution acknowledging the monetary
contribution from an anonymous donor pursuant to Minnesota State Statute 465.03.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River Fire Department received a $7,200.00 donation from an
anonymous donor with the intent it be used by the Elk River Fire Department for the
purchase of a Scott Eagle X thermal imaging camera; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River
to acknowledge the support and commend the donor for their donation.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 9th day of January, 2006.
