VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING

Regular meeting of Village Council was held at the office Charles F Firman on Wednesday evening
Sept 9, 1914.
Present Charles F. Firman, Pres, E.E. Scott and F.M. Plank Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne Clerk
Meeting called to order by Pres at 8:30 P.M.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed and Clerk instructed to draw order for
same.

The following resolution was unanimously adopted. Resolved that the sum of 3000.00 be levied as a
tax to meet the expenses of coming year and that the Clerk notify auditor of same.
On motion the Pres. appointed E.E. Scott and T.M. Plant a com. To see about creating a
Tri State franchise post poned indefinitely. Waterman Electric Franchise subject not brought up.
