VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 25, 1913
A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Office of Geo E Page on Saturday evening Jan
25, 1913.
Present: Geo E Page, Pres. B.F. Plummer and W.F. Chadbourne
Capt Barrett of Minneapolis representing the J.N. Johnson Co being present with samples of hose
for fire engine.
The Village being in need of 250 ft of 2 1/2 inch hose and the Council being satisfied with terms
and price the following motion was made and carried unanimously.
Resolved that the Village purchase 250 ft 2 ½ inch hose of the J.N. Johnson Co Minneapolis at .75
per foot to be paid for 90 days after receiving said hose.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed.
J. deBooy logs used in reframing abutment 18.06
J.E. Hamlet hauling logs 1.50
Ben Daniels street work 2.00
R.D. Roach street work 2.00
E.L. Black street work 1.00
No further business adjourned.
