VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
November 24, 1913
A Special meeting of Village Council was held at Office of Charles F. Firman on Monday evening
Nov 24, 1913.
Present: C.F. Firman Pres, F.M. Plank, Ed Keegan, and E.E. Scott Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne
Clerk.
Meeting called to order by Pres at 7:15 p.m.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed and orders for their respective accts
drawn.
J. L’Herault cleaning sewer on Princeton St 9.25
W.F. Chadbourne looking after same 2.50
F.M. Plank expenses to Lindstrom 10.75
Frank T. White insurance on fire engine 31.50
The following Resolution was presented and unanimously adopted.
Whereas, the Grant Bridge Co of South St. Paul Minn having been duly notified to proceed to finish
contract on bridge #668 over Miss River at Elk River Minn and commence work on same on or
before Nov 20, 1913 and no attention whatever having been paid to said notice either by mail or
otherwise therefore be it
Resolved by this Council that the Grand Bridge Co have defaulted their contract and that the
National Surety Co be notified to that effect.
No further business adjourned.
