OCTOBER I 0, 1922 A regular meeting of the Village Council was held at the Library Room on Tuesday evening Oct 10, 1922 Present- M.K. Iliff, Pres,J.E. Hamlet, C.A. Morse, Geo Cornelius, Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk Meeting called to order by the Pres. at 7:30 p.m. Fred Ayers Fire Chief presented a list of officers elected by the Firemans Relief Assn and asked confirmation by the Council on motion duly made seconded and declared carried by the Pres. The following officers were declared elected. Firemens Relief Ass'n L.L. Bishop PresAbner L'Herault Vice PresL.A. Dare TreasRoland K. Wilson SecyA draft of Ordinance No. 16 was presented to the Council for its approval. Entitled an Ordinance to prescribe the limits which wooden buildings or buildings of other materials that shall not be decreed fire proof shall not be erected. On motion duly made seconded and declared carried the Pres ordered the Roll of Minutes called on the motion with the following result: Geo Cornelius Trustee aye John Hamlet Trustee aye C.A.
