Volunteer Recognition Program
In years past the Volunteer Recognition Program was held sometime in April. Since the
term of most of our board-commission members is March 1 through February 28, I thought
it might be more fitting to host this event in February to coincide with the last month that
non-returning members would be involved.
I am considering the following:
· This dinner event would be on Thursday, either February 16 or February 23;
· To have this event at the Holiday Inn or Blackwoods (both are located in Otsego);
· To present the board/commission members with Chamber Dollars for their gift; and
. Possibly having a dinner buffet.
If any member of the City Council wishes to discuss this event further, please remove from
the Consent Agenda. If no further discussion occurs, I will go ahead with the above noted
arrangements. Thank you.
