Background/Discussion Earlier this year, the City Council approved the preliminary and final plat of The Cove. The applicant met all standards for approval, and staff released the plat for recording in accordance `vith our standards. Upon recording, Sherburne CountyT contacted staff to state that after recording the plat, they identified a duplicate plat elsewhere within the countyT. As this conflicts with their plat naming policyT, the countyT has required the applicant to rename the plat. The new plat will be named The Cove on Lake Orono. All other standards, easements, and requirements remain the same as the original plat of The Cove. The onlyr change is the name. Staff woYked with the cityr attoYney to deaft the attached resolution approving and memorializing this change. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 1. Final plat approval was previously granted for the Property and the current action provides no alteration to the previously approved plat other than the name. 2. i� The officeYs of the Cityr aYe heYebyr authorized to sign the final plat foY the PYopeYt�r and to issue a certified copyT of this Resolution giving final approval of the plat as renamed. The o`vner of the property is authorized to record the final plat as required b�T la�u and shall file proof of said recording with the CityT. No building permits `vill be issued for the propertyr until the final plat is recoYded.
