VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
February 24, 1915
The Village Council met at the Office of C.F. Fiman Pres on Wednesday evening Feb 24, 1915.
Present – C.F. Fiman Pres, F.M. Plank Trustee and W.F. Chadbourne
This meeting was called for the purpose of auditing accounts for the past year.
R.A. Calif Vill Treas presented his report which was examined and compared with books of Clerk
and found correct.
The Clerk was instructed to prepare a statement for publication in Star News immediately.
Report of Treas. accepted and placed on file.
The following bills were allowed and orders were drawn for their respective amts.

Application was made by the C.E. Flk Co for a permit to rebuild store and for the use of ½ street in
front of said building during construction request granted and clerk ordered to issue permit.
Geo H. Blanchett made application for license to sell intoxicating liquor at N.E. Cox Room of
Blanchett Hotel with fee of $10.00 Notice of hearing sent to Star News for publication Mar 11 and
18 1915.
