VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
November 11, 1914
A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Office of C.F. Firman on Wednesday Nov 11,
1914.
Present – C.F. Firman, Pres, E.E. Scott, F.M. Plank and E.J. Keegan Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne

Meeting called to order at 8:30 P.M. by President.
A deed was presented to Council by W.H. Houlton for lots at intersection of Main and Depot St
opposite Episcopal Church to be used for Park purposes only a vote of thanks was extended to Mr.
Houlton for his gift.
The following bills were presetned and on motion allowed.

The Office of Marshal being vacant T.J. Lalta having appeared for cause on motion he was
unanimously appointed Village Marshal on one month trial to commence immediately.
