Background/Discussion
The Safe Haven BabyT Boxes mission is to prevent illegal abandonment of newborns. The�T provide an awareness
campaign, a 24-hour hotline, and a Safe haven Baby Box as a last resort option for `vomen `vho want to maintain
complete anonyTmityT.
There currentlyT is no legislation for these in Minnesota, and if changes could be made, Elk River `vould be the first
in iVlinnesota to have this support.
