RESOLUTION NO. 06-05
A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON WACO STREET
S.A.P. 204-126-05 from County Road 30 (Mississippi Road) 1100 feet north in the City of Elk River,
:Minnesota.
WHEREAS, THIS RESOLUTION was passed this 9th day of January 2006, by the
City of Elk River in Sherburne County, :Minnesota. The Municipal Corporation shall hereinafter
be called the "City", WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the "City", has planned the improvement of Waco Street, State Aid Route No. 204-
126-05 from County Road 30 (Mississippi Road) to 1100 feet north in the City of Elk River, :Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the "City" will be expending Municipal Street Aid Funds on the improvements of this
Street; and
WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both sides of the
street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street project must therefore be
conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
That the "City" shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on both sides of the Waco Street at all times.
Passed and adopted by the City of the City of Elk River this 9th day of January 2006.
