Review and approve by motion the current or a revised MFAC Mission and Vision statement for 2024.
Background/Discussion
In accordance with the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances, the MFAC is required to develop a value statement
and a mission statement to be reviewed annually and amended as desired.
The MFAC Mission Statement currently states:
“Provide an environment of diverse and inclusive activities with opportunities that contribute to the wellbeing of
all by listening to the needs and desires of the greater Elk River community. Respecting our past, serving the
present and preparing for tomorrow.”
The MFAC Vision currently states:
“An inclusive and accessible facility, incorporating sustainable practices, while creating opportunities that foster
pride in our community with a commitment to quality of life.”
