DISCUSSION:
• We continue to work with City of Elk River IT staff on expansion of the fiber loop to the
northeast area of Elk River and have a project kickoff meeting with the contractor during
the week of December 11.
• We continue to work with DGR and WEG on design questions for the Otsego substation
transformer, and still expect full review drawings in January of 2024.
• We continue to work on the planning and design of the future East substation, which
will be needed to support development in the southeast portion of our service territory.
• We continue to assist with Advanced Metering Infrastructure system planning and setup
as the first meters are installed.
• We are expanding Multi Factor Authentication and have noticed an increase in spam
and phishing emails recently.
