1. Approve, by motion, the 2024 City Council meeting calendar.
2. Approve, by motion, the 2024 Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission calendar.
Background/Discussion
Per state law, a schedule of meetings of the City Council must be kept on file with the Office of the City Clerk and
posted on the city’s bulletin board. Regular meetings are the first and third Monday of each month. Four meetings
have been scheduled for Tuesdays due to state-mandated holidays. The Board of Appeal meeting date is yet to be
determined.
Per City Code, Section 2-254, the Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission is required to have their meeting
schedule approved by the Council. At their last meeting, the Commission reviewed their schedule and approved
their dates in the attached calendar.
The Board of Appeal (6:00 p.m.) and the Multipurpose Facility Commission (6:30 p.m.) both have meetings
scheduled on Monday, April 8. It is suggested to still approve both calendars, then at the next Multipurpose
Facility Commission meeting, the commission could cancel that meeting and call a special one for a different date.
