VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 27, 1917
A Special meeting of Village Council was held at the office of C.F. Fiman Pres on Saturday Jan 27
1917
Present – C.F. Fiman, Pres, E.E. Scott, E.J. Keegan Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk.
Meeting called to order by Pres at 2:30 P.M.
This meeting was called for the purpose of taking some steps in regard to fixing Ice Break above
Bridge across the Miss River said Ice Break having been washed out by the logs and high water last
spring. After some discussion on motion E.E. Scott Trustee was appointed to confer with the Town
Board of Otsego in regard to helping in the repairing of said Ice Break and report as soon as
possible. E.J. Keegan was instructed to visit Monticello Minn and get pointers in regard to the
manner of fixing Ice Break at that place and report soon.
Harry Hall presented bill for cleaning streets of snow and snow plow on motion his bill was allowed
amt 8.00
No further business adjourned.
