VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
July 11, 1917
A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Office of C.F. Fiman Pres on Wednesday
evening June 13, 1917
Present – C.F. Fiman, Pres, E.E. Scott, F.M. Plank and E.J. Keegan Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne,
Clerk.
Visitors Andrew Davis, M.K. Iliff, Anthony Bysen,
Meeting called to order by Pres at 8:15 P.M.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed
E.R. Band 5 concerts in park 25.00
Frank Ebner assessing 1917 98.45
E.R. Power and Light Co repairs on st lights 45.60
Wm Iliff work on street 10 ½ days at 5.50 57.75
C.E. Falk Co goods for street 7.98
J.E. Hamlet st sprinkling 15.00
John Blocker team work on street 24.75
J. Wyman 1 ½ days man and team 8.25
Ben Kunasch 11 ½ das shoveling st 31.62
Will Blocker 10 ½ days shoveling st 28.87
F.M. Plank trip to Minneapolis to purchase grader 5.00
E.J. Keegan trip to Minneapolis and st. work 7.00
The property owners on S. side of Main St asked that a curb be put in on s. side of Main St at the
time new sidewalk was being built. No objections being offered the council granted their request the
owners of property paying for same.
