VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING

A special meeting of Village Council was held on Wednesday Oct 3 1917 at the Office of C.F.
Fiman Pres
Present – C.F. Fiman, Pres, E.E. Scott Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk.
Meeting called to order by Pres at 7:30 P.M.
This meeting was called for the purpose of acting on petition of Henry C. Hastings to lay out a new
street thro his proposed Addition to the Village of Elk River. A plat of same was presented showing
location of lots. After due consideration by the council it was considered practical and of benefit to
the Village to have such street laid out.
On motion of E.E. Scott Trustee seconded by W.F. Chadbourne Clerk it was resolved to accept said
plan. Roll call C.F. Fiman Pres, yes E.E. Scott Trustee yes, W.F. Chadbourne Clerk yes
Motion declared carried by Pres.
Henry Hasting to file blue prints of same with Village Clerk.
