VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
October 27, 1917
A special meeting of Village Council was held at the Office of C.F. Fiman Pres on Saturday Oct 27
1917
Present – C.F. Fiman, Pres, F.M. Plank and E.E. Scott Trustee and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk.
Meeting called to order by President at 2:30 P.M.
This meeting was called for the purpose of levying tax for coming year 1918.
On motion of F.M. Plank Trustee seconded by E.E. Scott Trustee the following resolution was
adopted.
Resolved that the sum of three thousand five hundred 3500.00 be assessed for current expenses for
year 1918.

Motion declared by the Pres.
On motion of F.M. Plank Trustee seconded by E.E. Scott Trustee the following resolution was
adopted.
Resolved that the Village Council asses the sum of ½ mill for tax on the assessed valuation of
property for the purpose of musical entertainments in public park for the year 1918.
